Hi. My name is Cecil Hoffman and I’m the owner and chief editor of Roofing Done Right. My blog is a place where homeowners will find great tips and solutions for doing everything from simple shingle replacement to do-it-yourself commercial roof repair. I’ve worked with roofing contractors all over the country and they are some of the most down to earth people you will ever meet. Many of them are willing to help you as a homeowner, learn how to do some basic repairs and simple fixes to your roof. You may have an emergency repair and you just don’t have the means to afford a professional roofer at the time. Or, you may just want to understand the process so you can speak intelligently with your contractor and ensure that you are getting the best deal using the best products and techniques.

Because homeowners have requested it, we will include articles on other home repair and construction projects not necessarily related to roofing. These may include simple repairs or information on what to look for when you are choosing a contractor.
